The April Aire E070 is a professional-grade dehumidifier designed specifically for sealed crawl spaces, delivering powerful moisture control to protect your home from the ground up. Capable of removing up to 70 pints (9 gallons) of moisture per day, the E070 helps maintain optimal humidity levels between 40–60% relative humidity—the ideal range for reducing mold growth, deterring pests, and limiting the proliferation of airborne viruses. The result is healthier air throughout your entire home.
The E070 works by drawing incoming air over an evaporator coil, cooling it below its dew point to extract excess moisture. Collected moisture is automatically drained to a floor or waste drain—eliminating the need for messy trays. The air is then reheated through a condenser coil before being released back into the crawl space. The unit continues operating until the desired humidity set point is reached and periodically samples the air to determine when additional dehumidification is needed.
